Our family has been enjoying Sitar's excellent Indian cuisine for many years now and it is one of our favorite places to eat. We particularly love the curry dishes (lamb, chicken and shrimp) and the sauce is delicious when served over the basmati rice. If you like your food spicy, the "medium" heat is for you. We also love the lamb and chicken tandoori - it is flavorful without being too dry. The chicken soup is excellent and the lentil isn't bad either. The nan bread is tasty and moist. If you like wine, the half or full carafe is a bargain. If you pass on the wine, the mango lassi is delicious and the spiced iced tea goes well with the food. My only criticism is that at times, depending upon the night, the service can be a bit slow and the portions could be a little larger. But overall, it is a great place to go for good Indian food.
